Luxury Marine Sleep Systems

The ultimate in luxury sleep at sea.

Bespoke comfort. Perfectly yours.

Sopor Marine designs and builds yacht sleep systems from the ground up — custom-fit to your cabin, engineered with marine-grade materials, and finished to the standard of the rest of your vessel.

01 — Custom

Designed around your berth.

Every system begins with the actual geometry of your cabin — not a residential shape forced into a yacht.

02 — Marine-Grade

Materials that belong at sea.

Foams, textiles, and upholstery chosen for the realities of humidity, motion, and a closed marine environment.

03 — Low-Profile

Adjustable, without compromise.

Articulating bases tailored to yacht-cabin clearances. Read, watch, work, sleep — without losing cabin height.

04 — Integrated

Finished like the rest of the yacht.

Turkish Damask fabrics, custom embroidery to owner palettes — designed to be a part of the interior, not added to it.

Designed For Comfort

From the cabin floor
to the last stitch.

A Sopor Marine sleep system is not a replacement mattress. It is the entire sleep surface, reconsidered for rest and recovery while at sea.

Most marine bedding starts with a residential mattress and trims it to fit. We start with the cabin — its geometry, its airflow, its motion underway, the way an owner moves through it at 3am — and build the comfort architecture out from there.

The result is something quieter than “better”: a bed that disappears into the vessel and just performs.

The System

Six layers, one sleep system.

Every layer is selected for what it does at sea. Together they form a complete comfort architecture — engineered, not assembled.

01
Damask Sleep Surface
Marine-damask satin or owner-specified textile, quilted with custom motifs and finished with rope-trim piping.
Bespoke
02
Breathable Comfort Foams
Open-cell, perforated, and zoned foams chosen for pressure relief and airflow in an enclosed marine environment.
Climate
03
Motion-Isolating Transition
A stabilization layer engineered to reduce transferred motion between sleepers and from the hull itself.
Stability
04
Marine-Grade Support Core
Humidity-resistant, mildew-resistant, dimensionally stable. The foundation everything else is built upon.
Marine
05
Low-Profile Adjustable Base
Articulating platform designed to fit yacht-cabin clearances. Multi-zone positioning for reading, working, and rest.
Articulating
06
Cabin-Fit Plinth
CAD-engineered to your berth, with anchoring detail coordinated to the cabinetry and the yacht’s build standard.

Curated Materials

A library, not a catalogue.

Owners choose from a curated palette of marine-grade and luxury textiles — or specify their own, finished to the same standard.

Marine Damask

Heavy satin damask in navy or champagne, quilted with custom nautical motifs and signature monograms. Woven with Tencel™ eucalyptus fibre for silk-soft drape, breathability, and moisture-wicking performance — finished with a hydrophobic marine treatment to repel humidity, spills, and salt air.

Sleep Surface · Tencel™ · Hydrophobic Finish

Egyptian Cotton

Giza-grade extra-long-staple cotton from the Nile delta, mercerized and woven in Italy at 600–1000 thread count. Naturally cool, exceptionally durable, and softer with every wash — the standard for warm-climate cabins and tropical itineraries.

Sleep Surface · Giza ELS · OEKO-TEX® 100

Bamboo Performance

Bamboo viscose with a silk-like hand, naturally thermoregulating and hypoallergenic. Inherently antimicrobial and moisture-wicking, with a closed-loop production process and a wash-and-wear durability built for charter rotation and high-traffic guest cabins.

Sleep Surface · Charter-Grade · Thermoregulating

Silicone Leather

A phthalate-free, PVC-free silicone hide with the hand of full-grain leather and the resilience marine life demands. UV-stable, salt- and stain-resistant, IMO fire-rated, and offered in a full owner-specified colour program for side panels, plinths, and headboards.

Side Panels · IMO Fire-Rated · PVC-Free

Alpaca & Vicuña Accessory

An optional bedding accessory, not part of the sleep stack. Hand-loomed throws and bolsters in alpaca — or vicuña, rarer than cashmere and finer than silk — sourced from accredited cooperatives in the Peruvian Andes, finished with owner crest or yacht burgee.

Accessory · Throws & Bolsters · Allocation

Moonlight Embroidery ©

Pure silver bonded to a fine polyester core — tarnish-resistant, naturally antibacterial, and proven to inhibit odour-causing bacteria by up to 99.9%. Hand-guided embroidery for yacht names, owner monograms, family crests, and crew burgees, integrated directly into the sleep surface.

Finish Detail · Antibacterial · Bespoke
Custom Shapes

Built to the hull,
not the catalogue.

A yacht does not sleep on rectangles. Every Sopor sleep system — foam core, upholstered surround, fitted linens, and every accessory layered on top — is cut to the exact geometry of the berth. Corners hold under motion, drape sits true to the cabin sole, nothing pools at the foot.

V-Berth

Forward berths where port and starboard converge to a point. Foam core split on the centreline, upholstery panels mitred to the bow, linens shaped to match — the whole stack assembled as one geometry.

Island Berth

Walk-around berths with chamfered foot corners for cabin clearance. Foam, pad, and bedding all follow the chamfer; bolsters and accessories sized to drape evenly on the three open sides.

Pullman & Hull-Side

Berths that follow the hull at the foot or the side. Foam is CNC-cut to the curve, the upholstered base wraps it, and every linen and accessory layer is shaped to match — no bunching, no slip.

Owner Spec

Whatever the yard drew. From the cabin scan we build paper patterns, owner approves the cut, then the full system — foam, base, linens, and accessories — is tailored to match. Spares included.

Each Berth’s Full Programme
  • CNC-cut foam core
  • Upholstered base & surround
  • Fitted mattress pad
  • Fitted & flat sheets
  • Pillows, shams & duvet cover
  • Bolsters & accessory cushions
White-Glove Process

From first scan to first night.

A single point of contact, from cabin measurement through to the moment the bed is made.

01

Cabin Scan

On-site 3D scanning of every berth. Captures geometry, anchoring points, and clearances to the millimeter.

02

Design & CAD

Sleep system modeled in CAD against the scanned cabin. Materials and articulation specified with the owner.

03

Build

CNC foam cutting, hand-tailored upholstery, and embroidery executed in our Thomasville, NC workshop.

04

White-glove install, old bedding removed and disposed. Cabin photographed and verified before handover.

05

Monogram, crests, color program, scent and linen specification — finished to the owner’s preference.

06

Service intervals, seasonal swaps, and yard-side support coordinated with your captain or interior manager.

Coming · 2027

A motion-isolating foundation, engineered for the sea.

A next-generation comfort platform in development — designed to make a yacht underway feel like a yacht at anchor.

Sopor Marine’s motion-isolation foundation is conceived as the flagship upgrade in the system: an active comfort layer engineered to dampen transferred motion between sleepers and from the hull itself, without elevating the bed’s overall profile.

Planned Direction

  • Flagship comfort layer for premium yachts
  • Reduced transferred motion at speed and at anchor
  • Compatible with existing Sopor sleep systems
  • Owner-suite priority rollout, 2027
  • Invitation-only pilot programme — limited berths
